Hopkins is back

We go back to a very young and very attractive Anthony Hopkins in the 1980 film The Elephant man this week.
Yeah i know it's been a while, finding the time has been difficult but hey-ho, now i have found the time for this one.

Biographies are hard for me to watch. For some reason i just lack enthusiasm for them and any that i had soon fades away. Even Anthony Hopkins can't keep me interested in them- it's like watching the history channel... my brain switches in to boredom mode.
Saying all that, it was a very interesting biography. Hopkins as a young doctor that takes an interest in the elephant man tells the story.
The elephant man was beaten and so the doctor takes him away and tries to prevent further damage. He can't help but feel like this is a once in a life time opportunity (as all doctors do when they see something new).
quite an ingenious film.
