Hugo

This is only something like the second children's film that is still on the list. I borrowed it from my brother and was repeatedly assured that it was a very good film.

It's an unbelievably great film. Ben Kingsley isn't evil throughout the entire film and his character development is awesome! I'd never seen him in a film in which he wasn't the evil guy, now i have and I am truly a fan of his abilities. Likewise, Christopher Lee, although only having a smaller role in this film also isn't evil. His voice is one that is suited towards the more evil sounding characters (but that's mostly because of his bass baritone voice that you can hear). His voice is very melodic and very much like his singing voice (which you can hear with his band Charlemagne of which i am also a fan!). I loved his role in the film as well.

Sasha Baron Cohen was also a surprise because he can be unbelievably good (like he was in Les Mis) or he can be like most comedians and overdo everything. He wasn't playing to be funny in this film, he was actually trying to act and be serious, even if he did a silly voice! I grew towards his character as it went on and of course, i grew towards the film as it developed. It's not just about watches and machines, it has a surprising plot that lies underneath the film case!

I loved it! I hope you guys all loved it as well!

Ps. If you haven't checked out Charlemagne, I suggest that you do. They are symphonic metal but if you listen to 'By the sword and the cross', it's not particularly heavy, so it should be ok if you're not into metal!

I know that we complain that no one comments back to us, but we do check where the views are coming from and we want to thank Germany and the U.S in particular as most of the views come from there.
