Flyn has a son, sam who is now old enough to be of a similar age to Flyn in the first film.
Flyn has disappeared and Sam gets a note from Alun that leads him back to one of the original games and... Sam gets sucked into the programme. He finds Clue, the programme that his father created who is ultimately the evil character. He partners up with his father to beat Clue and get back to the user world.
I was dubious over this film, I remember it coming out in the cinema but because the original film was so good, it was hard to think that they might be able to match it with Tron Legacy. They did, I don't know what they'll do with the third film (because I haven't seen it yet) but I hope that it will be as good as the previous film.
