No, this is not about the hit song by Katrina and the Waves released in the eighties, this is a rubbish version of the film of Mamma Mia.
I only wanted to see this film because I wanted to hear their version of Walking on Sunshine and it was acceptable but nothing else about this film was. I really don't know why they bothered to release this film, they should have just cut it because it was never going to be a hit, it wasn't even going to be like Mamma Mia and draw the audience in because it was ridiculous and ABBA!
The plot was predictable, the songs were all destroyed and I wasn't convinced by most of the acting. It gave the impression of being a low budget film trying to do the same thing that Mamma Mia did. I hate comparing musicals but there was so much to compare about this film and it's a shame because if it hadn't have been so similar we probably all wouldn't think that it was worse than high school musical two!
There were some funny moments and one good character but overall, there just wasn't enough in it to drag it along.
